The Drone has Landed!

After much thought, I've acquired a DJI Phantom drone! Several clients, both commercial and real estate, have inquired about aerial photos and videos. I have used a pole system for the last couple of years, mounting my Olympus camera on an extendible (20 foot) pole. This allows me to change the perspective, get above hedges, etc.

However, a drone offers so much flexibility. I can shoot HDR brackets as well as HD videos. The above photo was added to a virtual tour I did of a home at Furry Creek. It shows the golf course and up Howe Sound towards Squamish; there was no other way to get this shot, except in a helicopter.
